Laura has been sailing since 2003, her first experience was sailing across the Atlantic in a 50ft Ketch. She has been keen on sailing ever since and has worked in the yacht club as a member of staff. She became a member of the club and the committee in 2004, and is now studying for her degree in Graphic Design at Plymouth University. She was elected Rear Commodore Sailing in March 2008.
