I have sailed since childhood, first in dinghies (Enterprise E83) then later on to Lasers, then crewing (etc) in "Laira" (similar to a Folkboat design) then locally in "Double Trouble" the Bolero, then "Double Trouble" the 1/2 tonner then in "New Moon". Now motor boating in "Double Trouble" the fishing ?? boat.

At sea in the merchant navy for 33 years (Master Mariner) then 7 years at the Meteorological Office as a ship routeing officer. Retired from there in 2001 then did an HNC in computing at Plymouth CFE.
