Help for users of the Brixham Yacht Club notice board

This notice board is for use by club members, and associates, who would like to place a notice on the web site. We intend to offer members the opportunity to advertise boats, equipment and services (of use to other members).

The yacht club coordinator (A committee member) will assess all adverts/notices for their suitability. He will then standardise the format and place it into a numbered line on the web page. Only the name of the vendor will be displayed, personal contact details will not be used on the web site.

Placing an advertisement on the web site.

For plain text, items use the form on the web to send an e-mail message to the coordinator with your name, and brief description of the item for sale.

For items with pictures, recreate the picture in ‘jpeg’ format and ensure that the size is less than about 100 kb. This will ensure prompt display when the web page is loaded. Click here for further instructions on sending pictures by e-mail. See Help on e-mailing pictures for more assistance.

Should any person wish to learn more about an item then they should send an e-mail to the coordinator with their own contact details. He will then pass on these details to the vendor who may then make personal contact with the interested parties.
