"Brixham Yacht Club is proud to be hosting the first visit and match racing of the Tall Ships Youth Trust's four ex-Global Challenge Yachts at the end of May. These 72ft steel racing yachts have recently been bought by the Trust, and will race to Brixham from Weymouth on Wednesday 28 May, finishing on the BYC club line at about 1800 before berthing on the Events pontoon. On Friday 30 May the four yachts will have two races around Torbay, run by BYC and starting at 1030 and 1330, followed in the evening by a reception and prizegiving at BYC, which members are welcome to attend. The yachts will remain in Brixham for the weekend, departing on Monday 2 June."
