    Mothers Day Lunch Update

    Due to Corona Virus concerns the Board, after consulting with the chef, have decided not to serve buffet style meals at present. We have therefore updated our menu for Mother's Day, see attached.     BYC Supper Clubs are Launched

    Chef Lee has released the menu for the first ever BYC Supper Club on the 1st Feb. The theme for the first evening is New York. The menu can be found from the "Ashore" link on the website. Please come and join us for some of the best local produce and dining in the Bay. Booking is essential and can be carried out from the Book/Enter Online link above or over the bar.

    Boxing Day Bash 2019

    Ron Campion, our Vice Commodore, presenting Second Coxswain, Richard Fowler and crew of the Torbay Lifeboat with £340, which were the proceeds raised from The Boxing Day Bash Auction of unwanted Christmas presents which was held at the club.

    BYC Annual Prize Giving 2019

    The club held its annual prize giving awards last weekend and as usual was packed full of sailors and their families. A special thank you to the Sailing Team especially Mike McMillan and his wife for organising the event.     Topper Traveller SW Series

    Excellent weekend, your Club hosted the South West Topper Traveller series with some 30 boats competing in strong gusty conditions. All the youngsters had a good two days with the Saturday training and practice then three races on the Sunday. Four races were scheduled but the wind was getting even stronger and they were becoming exhausted.     A Busy Week of Sailing

    What a busy time our Sailors have had, from sunday Sailing, Torquay Regatta, Monday Dinghy Pursuit race, Passage Race and now the Dartmouth Regatta over the coming weekend. Last Sunday's sailing turned into the "Perfect Drift" with Orchist having to start her engines to prevent shaking hands with a neighbouring boat!
