Plain Sailing

Brixham Yacht Club are introducing a new initiative for our Dinghy Sailors. Plain Sailing will be a weekly session on Saturday mornings between 10am & 12noon that will allow time on the water to practice or build confidence whilst there is safety cover available.

The sessions are suitable for anyone who has completed the RYA Level 2 Dinghy Course as a minimum (or equally competent sailor) and whilst we cannot provide tuition or training during these sessions, there will be experienced sailors present who will happily offer skills coaching for those want it - please just ask.

A decision will be made the day before and also on the morning of each session as to the weather conditions for launching the Ribs and levels of competency of the sailors attending. If activity on the water is not available, then we will hold a Plain Sailing Social with informal dinghy chat and Q&A in the bilges.
